My love for photography and design first came in 2005. After my first year of college I booked my flight for London and Paris, and bought a used point and shoot camera. I spent ten days walking around the streets, wandering the museums, and sitting by the water taking pictures. I felt connected to art, European culture and to England. That summer I saved ever penny and bought a shiny new SLR camera and took a few night classes to get the basics down.
After graduation from college I started managing a local print shop, a perfect blend of my love for design and my education in business. We experimented with different papers, inks, cuts, folds, and letterpress. I found true love and passion for what I did, and true beauty in the way that ink hits paper and makes wonderful things. I started to take design seriously, and have since followed my heart and begun working in art and design through full time through freelance and my current employment.
I currently live in St. Catharines with my husband Will, and my lively son Evan. They are pretty cool guys, and aside from the whole "toilet seat up or down" debate, we get along and they inspire me on a daily basis.
I hope to share my life with you, in pixels, photos, and print.
